There is a lot of information in your statistics. But the basics are:
Visitors (or Unique Visitors) represents how many different people have looked at your site during the specified time. Total Visits is the total number of times those visitors visited your site. For example if I visit your site today and then again two days later I would be one Unique Visitor but would make two Total Visits.
Pages indicates how many pages were looked at during the specified time.
Kbytes, Files and Hits are not particularly relevant to basic analysis.
Further into the statistics there are detailed breakdowns of the above activity by day and by hour.
Also of interest is Referrers (Connect to Site From) and Search (Keyphrases and Keywords).
Referrers indicates which other web sites sent visitors to your site including which Search Engines.
Search indicates what people typed into search engines to find your site.
